Coaches
Beer League Hockey Practice is continuing to expand throughout Ontario and the rest of Canada. If you or someone you know would be a good fit for a coaching position, please complete the form below.
Coaches commit to weekly practices where they lead Beer Leaguers through a series of drills and skill development exercises. There are guidelines and resources that BLHP provides, and coaches are given a good deal of freedom to build and develop their own programs based on their experience, feedback from the skaters, and feedback from the organization. Each program has a head coach with a support staff of assistant coaches. Coaches should be prepared to teach a variety of skill levels to a variety of adults of different ages and hockey backgrounds. Patience, and good attitude, positive energy, and willingness to provide direct feedback as well as address the group as a whole are important assets.
