Kitchener Coaches Wanted!

Beer League Hockey Practice is coming to Kitchener this fall. We’ve secured ice at the Dom Cardillo arena on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 for 20 weeks starting in October. We’re looking for a total of 3 qualified coaches to run our practices each week. Classes consist of a maximum of 28 skaters plus goalies. Skill levels vary from complete beginners, to slightly more advanced skaters. Everyone who attends leaves their ego at the door and becomes part of a supportive and fun environment where they can learn and improve. We have some standards and guidelines for our coaches to follow, and we also encourage our coaches to be creative, and flexible based on the needs of the individuals in their class.

Each coaching staff consists of a head coach, and two assistant coaches. The head coach leads the group as a whole and develops the practice plans for each skate. Assistant coaches are responsible for supporting the head coach, as well as providing direct, one-on-one feedback to skaters who require attention.

We ask that all coaches are Hockey Canada certified, have basic first aid training, and are able to operate the defibrillator devices at arenas. If you don’t have these certifications, no worries. If you’re selected for the coaching staff we’ll provide the payment for these courses and certifications.

Please complete the application form below. If you have any questions please write us at info@beerleaguehockeypractice.com

Cheers!
